The fear of His boundless anger
From Gnomon Chronicles
Context: "Why do many religionists believe that an atheist's anger toward the God he doesn't believe in causes his disbelief?"
Anger is a boundary violation reflex.
Religionists project their own fears (as how could they not? we all do) onto the Other, in this example atheists.
Since God is boundless, so too the fear of His boundless anger.
